I know, I know...hard to believe! I finished the book I've been reading. It took me less than a month, but I can say that I retained some of the information in it. One of the most intriguing parts of the book led me to the Bible and the book of Job. The past two weeks have been a challenging roller coaster of emotions for me, personally. As I was reading the beginning of Job, it was amazing to me how Job was able to remain faithful to God even though his life was being turned upside down by Satan. I guess I saw that sometimes we will never know why God says no to our prayers or has us endure painful situations. No matter what, we still need to be strong in our faith and trust in Him.
On to the Super Bowl!!!! My beloved Steelers of Pittsburgh have proved they are the best in the AFC...and soon will prove they are the best in the whole NFL. When they do, I am planning to make the 2 hour drive to participate in the festivies when they bring the Lombardi trophy to the Steel city.
Tomorrow, with no football on tv, I will be going to church then teaching my junior high CCD class. Then, I plan to go to the gym, and go to Wal-mart to get groceries. Think I may try and see my nephew sometime tomorrow as well. Peace.

Joining the 21st century
After reading all about what's going on in everyone else's lives, you have all inspired me to tap into my education and use it to keep up with the world. Just hanging out here in my apartment with the one in my life who thinks I'm the best...Piper, my loyal puppy. As you will see, I usually get to the point in as little words as possible when I'm writing. I am looking forward to tomorrow morning as I will be getting my car back after many repairs to the engine. There have been many lessons God has taught me in these last couple weeks having no transportation. For one, I should be thankful for the little things in life that sometimes I take for granted. Two, having a mom like mine is such a blessing. She struggled through the inconvenience with me. And three, God only puts as much as we can handle in our lives at one time. These lessons aren't really new, but I guess He thought I needed reminded again!
