Joining the 21st century
After reading all about what's going on in everyone else's lives, you have all inspired me to tap into my education and use it to keep up with the world. Just hanging out here in my apartment with the one in my life who thinks I'm the best...Piper, my loyal puppy. As you will see, I usually get to the point in as little words as possible when I'm writing. I am looking forward to tomorrow morning as I will be getting my car back after many repairs to the engine. There have been many lessons God has taught me in these last couple weeks having no transportation. For one, I should be thankful for the little things in life that sometimes I take for granted. Two, having a mom like mine is such a blessing. She struggled through the inconvenience with me. And three, God only puts as much as we can handle in our lives at one time. These lessons aren't really new, but I guess He thought I needed reminded again!

I think we both needed some reminders from the Big G! My mantra these past 3 weeks was "we can do it - this is temporary". At times I drew strength from your desire and willingness to compromise. Thank you. I love you immensely.
ReplyDeleteWe all need a reminder now and then-some more than others. Sometimes it's easy to get our attention, but when it's not, then He has to use big things in our lives.
ReplyDeleteMy little buddies in shock because he has "that" shirt on-he'd rather be in brown and orange!!!!!Love ya!
ReplyDeleteDude! Welcome to the blogosphere! Learning God's lessons is not usually convenient. I'm glad the rough patch is behind you (and your mom!)
